Our Mission

Lighthouse Outreach is a nonprofit on a mission to share the light of Christ through charitable works and giving. Our mission is to transform our local community and inspire the people of the local community to devote their lives to Christ and to welcome them into fellowship and community with us as the body of Christ. Through community outreach we hope to serve our community in a way that glorifies God and makes for a better tomorrow.

Our Purpose is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to inspire others to live a life more like Christ. Behind everything that we do and every aspect in the way we do them is the purpose of winning more souls over for the kingdom of God. We believe not only that Jesus is Lord but that he will save anyone who calls upon his name. So, our primary purpose and goal is to spread His name and the good news of His life, death, and resurrection. We passionately pursue Christ through prayer, worship, the reading of scripture, and fellowship.

Our Core Values

• Follow Christ- Our primary concern at Lighthouse Outreach is first and foremost to live life in a way that is glorifying to God and following the example of Jesus Christ as well as living out his commandments. We believe that Jesus Christ is Lord of all.  

• Develop Community- We believe that to live the Cristian life is to inherently be connected to a community of believers who inspire, care, and watch over each other. We wish to develop a community where people feel connected with one another and make life long bonds. 

• Inspire Joy- We hope to spark joy not only in the lives of those we serve but in the lives of all those who we touch. By joy we do not mean fleeting pleasure or temporary happiness, but lasting joy. That stays through trials and tribulations and never fades. 

• Give Generously- We aspire to make an impact in people’s lives and the community that we are placed in through charitable works and giving. We want to give as openly as possible, as much as possible, and as frequently as possible. 

Our Framework

“You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people's feet. You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” -Matthew 5:14-16

 One of Lighthouse Outreach’s central and grounding frameworks can be seen in Jesus’ command for us to be the light of the world. Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount calls for believers to be salt, in other words to preserve what is good in the world. We have a distinct role of influencing the world around us and bringing forth meaningful change that can be experienced. Jesus also here calls us to be a light to the world. Like a lighthouse on a foggy night we are to be a guiding light to those lost in the dark fog of worldliness and floating aimlessly in the sea of sin. Lighthouse Outreach is committed to be these guiding lights into the world for the express purpose of leading people around the world to give glory to our Father in heaven.
